Black Jewish Justice Alliance (BJJA)- Check the Sheriff
The BJJA is still supporting progressive Justice Reform through the Progressive Justice Reform Coalition with Black Lives Matter LA. The Check the Sheriff campaign continues to work on a charter amendment to hold the Sheriff accountable.
CLUE advocated alongside BLM to help get SB-2- Police Accountability bill, AB-118 the Crisis Act Passed.The DA has commuted 60,000 Marijuana convictions.
Reclaim Black LA
CLUE continues to support Reclaim Black LA in doing outreach in the Chesterfield Square Park area. We are preparing for a Christmas Reclaim; details coming soon.
Representing CLUE’s Black & Brown community, CLUE responded to the Haitian migrant crisis, coordinating several actions including at the Mexican consulate and at the federal building in Downtown LA.
